Portrait of Amber Jewell, LSCSW

Amber Jewell, LSCSW

Trainer & Coach, YSO Partners

A licensed clinical social worker who is a foster alumna, has worked inside the child welfare system and now brings that firsthand view to the organizations she trains.

About

Amber Jewell has spent fifteen years working in child protective services, education, and mental health as a licensed clinical social worker. She has served as a case worker, seeing firsthand how policy translates, or fails to translate, into practice on the ground.

Amber is also a foster care alumna and a current foster parent, which means she has experienced the child welfare system from both the professional and personal side. That dual perspective shapes how she approaches leadership training.

She focuses less on compliance theory and more on what helps a child in a real moment.

Amber joins YSO Partners engagements during the leadership training phase of Cultural Change work, helping leadership translate policy into the daily decisions that make a protection culture real.
